Number of Shots for 360-Degree Product Images
One of the most common points in our consultation: The number of shots. How many photos should I have taken for 360-degree product photos? 24, 36, or rather 48?
Answered briefly: With a good player like the license player, 24 photos are sufficient and it saves your budget. However, we’re happy to produce any other number upon request. 36 photos would sometimes be somewhat better depending on the product. We don’t recommend 48 or even 72 photos, but as mentioned, if desired, we’ll gladly do it.
Why rather 24 or 36 photos and not 72? For one, it’s a matter of cost. The more photos that need to be taken, the higher the costs naturally are. 72 photos have another disadvantage that we unfortunately have to consider in Germany. The loading time. It must always be as short as possible – that’s why 24 photos have become established as the standard over the past few years. However, one should definitely consider a very good player. We’re happy to advise you.

We would also like to show you an example from our production that deviates from the usual. Reasons: Here, functions should be shown independently of the loading time, together with very smooth rotation. Despite the 162 photos, the loading time is very low with common internet connections.
