Scan Motion from Hanover participates for the first time in the Christmas aid campaign of the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung.
Scanmotion, specialist for 3D product images and 360-degree product images, is participating for the first time in the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung Christmas aid campaign. As part of an open house on Saturday, December 18, 2010, anyone interested can get an idea of what the new technology of 360-degree product images for the internet is all about. On this day, those interested can also feel like a model and get scanned in 360 degrees. The company Scanmotion will conduct the scans on this day free of charge as part of the HAZ Christmas aid campaign. The 360-degree scans can then be sent to friends via email or displayed on the internet, for example on one’s own homepage. This even newer type of product presentation of 360-degree product images is slowly entering the fashion sector, to show clothing not just as a single image, but on the entire model in 360 degrees. The 360-degree scan can then be independently moved with the mouse, allowing the viewer the chance to view a dress all around, exactly as they want to.
