For KS Tools, Scanmotion created several thousand 360-degree product photos from the industrial and automotive sectors.
KS Tools, a medium-sized company from Hesse, offers tools for industry and trade in a 5-digit range. The challenge was to create the 360-degree product images within a short, manageable time. For this purpose, a comprehensive photography guide was first created to meet the customer’s wishes and to ensure consistent quality for future reproductions. Due to the scope of the order, the shots were taken directly at the customer’s site. This reduced logistics and transport costs. The shots were taken simultaneously at 4 sets for 360-degree product photography. Up to 4000 photos were taken per workday, which were also optimized and manually cut out.
The products ranged across all categories of workshop supplies, from small connectors, shiny chrome wrenches, to tool cases and workshop equipment. Special sets were used for reflective materials, and retouching was particularly challenging with the removal of support stands.
