Scanmotion.de broke new ground with the creation of blinds as 360-degree images. For a Berlin-based company, the specialists at Scanmotion created views of blinds using 360-degree product photography technology. <\/h3>\n

Until now, blinds, which are increasingly being sold online, have predominantly been shown in simple, sometimes even very basic, normal images. This poses a significant problem for buyers who are generally unfamiliar with blinds, as such purchases are not made as regularly as in other areas. When shopping online, customers naturally want to be able to examine blinds as thoroughly as they would in a specialty store. With 360-degree product photography, this has now been successfully implemented for the first time in the challenging field of blinds. The blinds were not only photographed from the front (interior view) but from all sides, including the eventual exterior view. Many customers not only want to enjoy a beautiful view of their blinds every day but also ensure that the exterior appearance is visually appealing. To show this view according to customer needs, 360-degree product photography is a great solution. Additionally, customers gain insight into the light transmittance of the respective products and can compare them directly in an online shop for blinds. Since there are many other types of blinds on the market besides the well-known ‘roller blinds’, 360-degree product photography helps customers and provides successful ‘educational work’. All blinds photographed for the Berlin company were captured not only from the front and back views but also with their respective possible functions. Scanmotion uses a special technique that allows functions to be shown in a 360-degree image. This enables interested customers to observe and test functions such as lowering a blind, as well as try out blinds with special features like side opening and closing. To create the product presentations of the blinds, all blinds were photographed in a hanging position, including their respective functions. The standard JavaScript player ensures that the 360-degree images are reliably visible and controllable not only on PCs but also on mobile devices. <\/p>\n
